There are some really fun food events coming up this weekend and next weekend that I want to make sure you know about. They each feature delicious food, entertainment, giving back to the community, and maybe best of all, AIR CONDITIONING. Yes, it’s been over 100 degrees for way too long here in Austin. We are currently at over forty days of over 100 degree heat…it’s almost biblical what is going on down here! But thank goodness for that air conditioning.

Bud Royer was my friend on Facebook but now he’s my friend IRL. Bud graciously invited me and Adam to stop into his restaurant, Royers Round Top, for dinner last weekend on our way to Houston.
