Since July 2008, Tasty Touring has been a creative outlet for writing and photography and also to share food and drink-related recommendations and experiences in Austin and beyond. I look forward to connecting with you through the blog and hopefully in person too! I share information more frequently via @TastyTouring and on Facebook so feel free to connect with me there as well.
I feel lucky to be part of the wonderful Austin community and grateful that Tasty Touring was named ”Best Local Food Blog” in 2010 and 2011 in the Austin Chronicle’s “Best of Austin” Reader’s Poll. I am a member of The Austin Food Blogger Alliance (AFBA) and was a founding board member and communications chair from 2011-2013. I’m also part of the Austin Convention & Visitor’s Bureau’s True Austin program.
Most of the best pictures and all of the design of this blog were created by my talented husband, Adam Holzband.
