I was thrilled to receive an invite to Christian and Jamie of Austin Food Journal’s house for one of their now-legendary pizza parties. My friend Carla from Austin Urban Gardens reintroduced us at a food blogger event and apparently pressured them into it. We are forever grateful.

Christian was making the three pizzas above and he supervised me while I made the Godfather. We inadvertently left out an ingredient so the resulting delicious pizza was christened, “The Jodi.”

Addie came sans husband but did bring her sweet boy Julian to the party. He charmed us all in his adorable red rain boots.
