Wining and Dining at Whole Foods

Joined Betsy at Whole Foods Culinary Center last night for a class called “Chef’s Table: A Wine and Dine Experience.” Thanks to Ilyse, Jessica, Melissa and Stephanie for the generous b-day gift card.

Betsy is a food lover and all around fun gal who recently joined the Whole Foods integrated media team as their online programs manager. She works on their Whole Story blog and other web content and social marketing.
FoodTouring was actually featured on the “What We’re Reading…” page back in September.

Food-Related Gifts for the Holidays

Are you trying to decide what to get for the food lover in your life or do you just feel like treating yourself? Yesterday I enjoyed two great food-related gifts that I wanted to share with you.
Our Fleishman Hillard-Austin holiday party this year was perfect for our office. While about half of our team specializes in food-related PR (clients include the National Mango Board, Tri-Lamb Group, California Table Grapes, and others), the rest of us just LOVE to Eat!

Lunch Express – An Hour in India

Today Megan and I stole away from work for an hour to participate in a “lunch express” class at Whole Foods Culinary Center. We won the time entry drawing at the last staff meeting so our company actually paid for the class — only $18/person.

Our teacher, Shefaly Ravula, has roots in multiple parts of India and has been cooking and teaching regional Indian cuisine for several years.
