UPDATE 8/15/10: I recently visited the East Austin Trailer Park and Eatery for lunch with my friend Mike from Austin Food Carts. The scene and food carts renting space there have changed in the little over two months since I visited/talked to Josh. I’ve always wanted to go to a drive-in movie and have never been but with cooler nights coming soon, I’m starting to think about being outside again and enjoying an outdoor film and a picnic. Both Whole Foods Austin and Treat have started showing classic films from the 70s, 80s, 90s on site.

Great minds must think alike because Yelp sent an e-mail today titled “Lick the Heat Away with Yelp” and the Daily Texan now seems to have a “Tasty Tuesdays” feature.
