Thanks to everyone who made it out to the first ever Food Touring event. It was great to meet some of my online buddies IRL (Mando of Taco Journalism and Morgan Fairchild’s much younger twin, Jen B.).
Some of us met at around 10 a.m. at Flip Happy Crepes to avoid the rush. By 11:15 a.m., the line for these delectable wraps was pretty long.

Whip In is the quintessential “Keep Austin Weird” establishment. Located on the access road to I-35 just south of Oltorf, I always figured it was just a place to make a beer run on the way to a house party. But Whip In is so much more than that!
