Hospitality Bags for Wedding Guests

In planning our wedding, two things that I put a lot of thought into was (well, other than every little detail surrounding the wedding) the hotel where the guests would be staying and their hospitality bags to welcome them to Austin. Fit Suite at Downtown Austin’s Omni Hotel

A couple weeks ago, Adam and I had the opportunity to stay in a hotel in our own city, something I always enjoy. You get all the benefits of a vacation without the stress and hassle of getting in a car or on a plane.
Austin’s downtown Omni Hotel recently invested millions of dollars  in a reconstruction and created “Get Fit” that include a workout nook stocked with a treadmill, yoga mats, P90X videos, medicine balls and bands.

Weekend Getaway to Lakeway Resort and Spa

Thanks to a gift certificate provided to me by the marketing team at the Lakeway Resort and Spa, I was able to treat two of my girlfriends to an overnight getaway on a recent Saturday night. The resort is about 40 minutes from downtown Austin, but when you’re there, you feel like you’re really on vacation.

Gage Hotel: Where to Stay in Marathon, Texas

On my recent week and a half long road trip, I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in Marathon for two nights — on the way out to New Mexico and also on the way home. For those unfamiliar with this tiny town of around 500 residents, it is best known for three things:

It is home to the Gage Hotel, a historic and elegant building circa 1927.
