Celebrating Christmas at the Driskill Hotel

I love hanging out at the Driskill hotel any time of year — the cowhide covered couches, taxidermy on the walls, delicious meals, and fun bar atmosphere make this a fun place to bring out-of-towners and go on a date.
But to me, the best time to visit the Driskill is during the Christmas season. And this Thursday night, the Driskill is kicking off their “12 Days of Driskill” holiday, as well as their 125th year celebration with what sounds like a fantastic event.

If you haven’t tried pies or crimps from The Pie Society yet, you’re missing out, Austinites. The Pie Society is a totally local, totally homegrown business started by my friends and former colleagues, Lindsay and Emily.
