Hospitality Bags for Wedding Guests

In planning our wedding, two things that I put a lot of thought into was (well, other than every little detail surrounding the wedding) the hotel where the guests would be staying and their hospitality bags to welcome them to Austin. Olivia from Sugar Mama’s Brings the Sweets on KGSR

I’m so glad that Olivia, owner and baker over at Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop, got enough of her voice back to join us on KGSR this morning to tell us about the shop’s first birthday party this Saturday and give us a taste of her delicious new line of bars and mini pies debuting next week!
The party is from 3 – 7 p.m. on Saturday at the shop, located at the corner of Mary and S. 1st, and will include live music, food, drinks, and a pie eating contest.

Calling All Popped Corn Fans!

If you love popcorn, you should give Cornucopia a try. Located on Guadalupe next to Veggie Heaven and across from Dobie Mall. Cornucopia has been open a few months. Owners Nikki Dugas and Nadia Elhaj tell took over the space from a different popcorn place that closed over the summer.
