Hospitality Bags for Wedding Guests

In planning our wedding, two things that I put a lot of thought into was (well, other than every little detail surrounding the wedding) the hotel where the guests would be staying and their hospitality bags to welcome them to Austin. Bright Spots to Lunch in Downtown Austin

I’ve been traveling a lot for work – eating meals on-the-go that have been generally disappointing. My expectations low, I flew back to Austin and stopped off at Sandra Bullock’s new shop, Walton’s Fancy and Staple at 6th between Rio Grande and Nueces, for a quick lunch before finishing off the day at my office. Cookie Lounge

The marketing professional in me loves a great concept, and the new Cookie Lounge on 22 1/2 Street between Rio Grande and Pearl is definitely that. It’s the baby of Mark Chapman, the former pastry chef at Austin’s Driskill Hotel. He created one of my top 5 favorite cakes — a Chocolate Caramel Mousse Cake with Guayaquil Chocolate, Devil’s Food Cake, and Dark Caramel.
