Adam and I recently went to San Antonio for a little one night getaway — well, not exactly recently — it was last Christmas Eve to be exact. It was my first time staying in San Antonio overnight and it’s been on my “to blog” list ever since. We stayed at the Liz Lambert owned Hotel Havana which was originally built in 1914 and opened in 2010 as a boutique, dog friendly hotel.

For me, really feeling like a truly married person has been a gradual process over a year and a half period. For this edition of Tasty Tuesdays, feel free to share your favorite bars, bartenders, and individual cocktails. Some of mine, in no particular order, include:

My friend Jan was in town last month for a wedding and of course, she wanted to check out the food truck scene. I had recently tired of food trucks because to be totally honest, most of them are nothing special. However, I did have a handful that I wanted to try, and we decided to have dinner at Love Balls.
Love Balls is located in the lower part of the East Side Drive In, next to Progress Coffee.
They serve takoyaki, a Japanese street food that is classically fried pancake balls …Read the full post »
