Last night, Rachel, Jessica, Ilyse, Melissa (pictured) and I spent the evening at a new wine bar called Uncorked to celebrate Rachel, who is officially moving to the Washington, D.C. area after about five months of world travel. It was surreal actually saying goodbye to her because aside from her being my best friend, she has been my family here in Austin — introducing me to her circle of friends when I moved here 5 years ago, including me in potluck Shabbat dinners, Chanukah parties, and countless outings and events. …
