Last night, I had the pleasure of being invited to a tasting at the Noble Pig. Visiting the Noble Pig has been high on my list to visit since it opened last fall. But as my friends can tell you, I rarely venture outside of the twenty minute driving radius from my house. Since Noble Pig is about thirty minutes from home, it just didn’t happen until last night’s food blogger event.
And let me tell you, Noble Pig is totally worth the trek!

For the entire history of Tasty Tuesdays, I’ve never asked you guys to share your favorite food trailer. Why? Because I hate when people ask me that. I mean, it depends on location, time of day, type of food, who I’m with, etc. So many factors!

Food lovers who visit Berkley generally make it a point to pay homage to Chez Panisse. As fellow food blogger Chance wrote in his roundup of SF restaurants, “the place definitely lives up to its reputation.”

Olivia from Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop is one of my favorite small business owners in Austin. She is as sweet as the name of her shop, fun to be around, experimental with new technology, and baker of my office’s monthly birthday treats.
With her new breakfast hours and menu rolling out tomorrow, she offered to bring over some early morning treats for me and my colleagues late last week.
The lemon bundt cake was my favorite. Still warm from the oven, light and spongy, it was perfect with my morning black coffee.
