Odd Duck was one of the most popular and successful food trailers in Austin during the food truck boom of 2010 to early 2012. It was one of the stops on the Tasty Up Food Trailer Tour that Addie Broyles and I hosted in 2010. Chef Bryce Gilmore closed Odd Duck to focus on his first brick-and mortar restaurant – Barley Swine.

They will soon open their fourth and fifth Austin locations – at Burnet and Anderson Lane and Bee Caves Road and 360 respectively. Tacodeli serves some of the freshest, most delicious tacos in town for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I’m so excited to share the Austin Food Blogger Alliance’s 2012 Austin City Guide and the first-ever Austin Food Blogger Favorites.
The City Guide includes over 65 blog posts written by 45 members of the Austin Food Blogger Alliance, covering a wide variety of topics. This includes what’s new, ethnic eats, eating mindfully, special occasions, beverages, food-related activities, and restaurants by location.
The Austin Food Blogger Favorites includes over 40 categories, with about half of the over 100 members participating in the survey.
