Austin Food Journal Brings the Pie

I was thrilled to receive an invite to Christian and Jamie of Austin Food Journal‘s house for one of their now-legendary pizza parties. My friend Carla from Austin Urban Gardens reintroduced us at a food blogger event and apparently pressured them into it. We are forever grateful.
Christian is a masterful pizza cook and showed Adam and I how to roll out and toss the dough properly. If you want to try his recipe to see if you can get his amazing results, he has posted it here.

GO TEXAN
We were invited for a meal by the folks promoting the GO TEXAN Restaurant Round-Up, a statewide event Sept. 28-Oct. 2, where participating restaurants serve a special Texas menu. A portion of the proceeds may go to food …

A New and Improved Tasty Touring

After what feels like months of planning, I’m so proud to share the new site with you.
Thank you to Leslie Williams, the graphic designer who turned an idea about a greasy spoon 1950s diner into a whimsical visual for the header. I love the old school theme and playful logo.
Tasty Touring is now powered by WordPress instead of Blogspot, allowing me to share information in a more interactive and user-friendly way.
You can now easily:
