ACL Weekend: Links to Get Down

Just wanted to share some quick link love for those going to ACL this weekend. I’m unfortunately not going to be at Zilker, but wanted to share some good ideas to make your days on the lawn easier and more delicious.
Mike Sutter at the Statesman has a list of the all-star food menu (and drink menu) at ACL.

Taste of ACL on KGSR with Chefs from Hudson’s and Torchy’s

If you are like most ACL-goers, you’ll be eating about six meals at Austin City Limits. According to the FAQ, you are not allowed to bring your own food into the park. However, you can bring an empty Nalgene bottle or a couple of factory-sealed water-bottles to refill throughout the weekend.
Today, I had the opportunity to meet some of the chefs participating in the AWESOME Austin City Limits Food Court. If you have been to ACL before, you know that I’m not kidding. The food is generally great!

ACL Food Rocks

Thanks to my client, AT&T I was lucky enough to attend the Austin City Limits Music Festival for the second year in a row. I saw some great bands including Fleet Foxes, Jose Gonzalez, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Eli “Paperboy” Reed, Spiritualized, John Fogerty, and Robert Plant/Alison Krauss. My favorite show by far was Plant and Krauss who gave a virtuosic, entrancing, sexy performance that included a wonderful band along with special guest T-Bone Burnett.

The food vendors at ACL include low-end versions of the best Austin has to offer …
