I love a good restaurant in a strip mall. The sleeper restaurant. You know, the one someone told you to go to and when you’re there, you start to feel like you discovered it?
My friend and fellow food blogger Michelle of Foodie is the New Forty loves Al Sur: “What it lacks in showiness it makes up for in heart….The crowning glory, the crepas de cajeta. Fantastic crepes with just the right amount of egg-y flavor, adorned with creamy cajeta, pecans, and vanilla ice cream. Heaven.”

We have so much to catch up on you guys! I’m so sorry that it’s been a little over a month since I last posted. Life has just been a whirlwind with the trip to Europe, coming back and catching up, etc.

Damn, Austin! Just as I get on a roll with my healthy eating and exercise, you go and open up new mouthwatering restaurants! I hate you almost as much as I love you!
