Live Blog: Central Market Cooking Class

Austin Food Lovers Read The Omnivore’s Dilemma

For those living under a rock, Addie Broyles is a food reporter for the Statesman. She is truly immersed in the Austin community and hosts semi-monthly get-togethers called “Appetizers with Addie.” She also formed a group on Facebook called “Austin Food Bloggers.”

Chili Cookoff at the OK Corral

Texans love their meat. They are religious about BBQ. And if you think you make a better Texas Chili, they’ll challenge you to a cook off.
I’m Canadian. I don’t know much about meat and am terrified to cook it. What if I handle it wrong and make myself (or worse, others) sick?
