Jeffrey B: Questions on Your Life in Food

Andy B: Questions on Your Life in Food

This is the second in a series of questions I asked my family and Adam’s. If you missed the previous entry, click here. As background, my father was born in Budapest, Hungary, escaped with his family when he was ten years old, and moved to Montreal, Quebec. My parents have lived in the D.C. area since the early 1980’s.
Dad’s lifelong love of sweets, pork products, and clever word-play  is well-reflected here. Please note that he remembers the exact date of his first candy bar purchase.

A few months ago, Addie Broyles shared a story about her great-great-grandmother and the knife and rolling pin still in the family that she brought to this country with her from Sweden. Tasty Tuesdays: Best Cajun/Creole Food in Austin

My boyfriend loves some Louisiana eats. So does my friend and Mississippi native, Betsy. Her husband, David, a recently reformed vegetarian, is pretty happy eating just about anything. When Betsy and David invited us to road trip down to New Orleans for Jazz Fest this year, I knew there would be some delicious meals ahead.
