Thank you to the Austin Business Journal for sharing the maple syrup message with your readers. This article is in this week’s print edition that will be mailed out today. I don’t believe they used the photo that I sent them in the final piece, but thought I would include it here for your amusement. No one gets between this Canadian and her maple syrup!

Addie Broyles is a friend, Statesman food writer, co-founder of a food lovers book club, and co-organizer of the Tasty Up tour (taking place tomorrow afternoon throughout Central and South Austin).
She asked me if I would send her photos for inclusion in her weekly series, “What’s in Your Fridge Friday” and I decided to send pics after a long weekend trip when it was especially empty and immediately following my weekly grocery shop when it’s at its best.
