Austin’s first kosher food trailer — Moses Falafel — will be opening to the public this Sunday, Jan. 8 on the campus of the Dell Jewish Community Center off Far West Boulevard.
If you dig Israeli food, or are vegetarian or vegan, this is something that likely has you squealing for joy right about now! And to top it off, follow Moses Falafel on Facebook and print out a buy one, get one free coupon to use this Sunday.

My fellow Maple Syrup fans (and those who love us), today is a great day! It may forever go down in history as the day that saved REAL maple syrup.
As loyal readers know, I am extremely passionate about maple syrup. Having been born in Canada, my parents would take me to sugar shacks every spring, and we would visit pancake houses where the maple syrup flowed freely.

I wrote a guest blog post about the tour of M. Chapoutier wine tour that the kind folks at Whole Foods organized for us during our foodie fantasy trip. Click here or the image below to check it out.
