I’m often asked about my favorite food trucks, or those I most recommend in town since there are so many. Here is a list of trucks that are either my favorites, or those that I know many other people enjoy.
South of the River
- Dock and Roll – Lobster Roll
- La Boite Cafe – Almond Croissants, Macarons
- Flip Happy Crepes – Sweet and Savory
- Gourdough’s – Big. Fat. Donuts.
- Holy Cacao – Drinking chocolate, Brass Cake Balls
- The Ice Cream Social – house-made waffle cones, unique ice cream flavors
- J Mueller – ribs
- The Mighty Cone – made famous at ACL Music Festival
- El Primo – tacos (breakfast and otherwise)
- La Tasca – tapas (UPDATE: It has since closed)
Downtown
- Chi’Lantro – tacos, kimchi fries
- G’Raj Mahal – Indian, fun atmosphere
East of I-35
- East Side King at Liberty Bar – Chicken Karaage, Veggie Meshi, Tongue Buns
- Pachamama’s Peruvian Creole Cuisine (UPDATE: It has since closed)
- Three Little Pigs – pork belly slider, cracklin’ meatloaf
