I’ve been thinking a lot about cocktails lately, and December just feels like such a cocktail-friendly time of year with all of the celebrations going on around town. Also, with the cocktail scene growing and so many interesting cocktails being created, I figured it was time for a Tasty Tuesdays on the best cocktails in Austin.

El Cubico from La Condesa. Great drink with tobacco infused mezcal.

Wish I could find a place that makes a decent Old Cuban. No one in Austin makes a good one.

Sounds like I'll need a designated driver when I try this one!

I asked David Alan, the Tipsy Texan, for a recommendation, and he suggested you visit Josh Loving at Fino, who knows how to make a good one. Let me know how it goes.
