Voting Love: Austin Business Journal and Austinist

6 April 2011 2,509 views 7 Comments

Two days into the Whole Foods Foodie Fantasy contest, and I’m feeling overwhelmed with your love. The outpouring of support from friends and family members from as far away as Germany, Brasil, the UK, and Canada, to those scattered throughout the U.S., I’m truly touched by your support.

But Austin, you take my breath away.

Today, the Austin Business Journal posted on their blog to encourage their readers to vote. Click the image below to view in a new browser window.

And that’s not to mention all the folks who tweeted to remind their followers to vote, posted a link on Facebook for their friends, and more. My dad has even offered an e-mail reminder concierge service to his friends since any Facebook user can vote once every 24 hours.

Even if I don’t end up winning the trip to Europe, I’ll never regret putting myself out there by making this video, and feeling the warmth and support of so many people I care about and respect.

Wow! I'm SO impressed. Not surprised in the least, but impressed and proud, as always. No one deserves to win more than you.

Thank you, love. You are such a wonderful friend! Any time I start to feel discouraged over the next week, I'll just need to refer back to your hilarious email and I'll feel better right away!

    Jodila,

You forgot to mention Italy. Pietro and Marijke are voting for you daily from Barga where they opened a B@B called Laserra di Barga. It is very beautiful and reasonable prices, close to Pisa and just up the road from Lucca a beaurtiful ancient town in Tuscany. Any PR you can throw their way would be welcome.

    Love You
