Tasty Tuesdays: Best Austin Food Trailers for Drunks
For the final Tasty Tuesdays “Best Austin Food Trailers” entry, I’d like your help in putting together a list of the best Austin food trailers to visit between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.
As Adam can tell you, I’m usually sound asleep by this time so I’m not really sure what the best trailers are to visit and I’d like to make sure I’m ready for a big night out on the town.

Thank you to Peter Tsai of the Tasting Buds for allowing me to use his image. Click on the photo for his blog post on Austin Daily Press.

When I was initially thinking about this post, the Official Muncher trailer at The Gibson on S. Lamar came to mind. Their “Trailer Burger” — a cheeseburger served on a huge Round Rock donut, seemed like the perfect addition.
However, the trailer has closed (probably temporarily) and will hopefully reopen in a new location soon so we can all add it to your list of late-night drunken eating binge stops.
What have I missed? Which of these are your favorites? Do you have any other tips for late-night eating? What do you recommend folks order when they stumble up to these spots?
