Don’t be Hasty, Vote for Tasty!
Just know that I’m full of shame as I type this shameless request for your vote in the Austin Chronicle’s “Best of Austin” poll.
If you enjoy my blog (even if you live elsewhere) and have a few minutes to enter your contact information and fill out at least one little box with two little words [Tasty Touring], your vote will be counted!
The 2010 Austin Chronicle Best of Austin poll is here, and voting ends on Monday, July 19. One vote per person but you can vote for as many or as few categories as you would like.
I don’t want to ask you for something without giving a little something back. In this case, my humble opinion on the other superlatives in the “Food and Drink” category:

Thank you very much (in advance) for those who took the time to fill out “Tasty Touring” for best food blog. I deeply appreciate it as Chief Tasting Officer. Also, it would be a great way to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Tasty Touring at the end of this month!
*I by no means have the illusion that Tasty Touring is the best food blog, or even among the top 5 best food blogs, in Austin. In fact, what makes the Austin food blog scene so rich is the many voices that come together to tell the story about Austin food. However, since there can only be one winner, I want to win. Is that so terrible to admit?
