David Ansel, a friend of mine since I first moved to Austin, was our guest this morning on the KGSR Late Show. Below he shows off his trusty Soup Peddler branded cooler that he used to transport containers of soup and entrees for us lucky ones to try.

Some things you might not know about the Soup Peddler:

  • You must order your food by the Saturday night before the week you would like to pick it up or have it delivered. This is not fast food people. Sign up for his e-newsletter here.
  • The Soup Peddler provides many mouth-watering options beyond soup including entrees and desserts.
  • That adorable baby sitting in a pot on the back of the Soup Peddlers delivery vehicles is David’s daughter, Mia. She was not harmed in the shooting of that photo and is now almost two years old.

I keep hearing about the Soup Peddler but I've never actually had any of his stuff. Gotta try it.

Love that Soup Peddler guy… Best quote #1: “I chose soup because it was very form-fitting.” Best quote #2: “We started realizing that if you take water out of soup you get back to solid food. These are called entrees.”
