Listen to the KGSR “Late Show” this morning at 8:30 a.m. CT to learn more about the fascinating world of cheese, hear about Slow Food Austin, and maybe win two tickets to the Jewish Comunity Association of Austin’s annual fundraiser, Fall Fusion.

Cathy Strange, global cheese buyer for Whole Foods Market will be our guest and we will ask her at some point in the program to name her top 5 favorite cheeses (or 5 cheeses to try before you die).

The first person to comment below with one of her favorites will win two tickets to Fall Fusion — benefitting the great programs, services, and community events at the JCC of Austin. More information on the event and purchasing tickets at www.shalomaustin.org.

The event is this Sunday, Sept. 13 starting at 6:30 p.m. The two tickets have a face value of $125 each.Whole Foods is one of the many local food sponsors that will be delighting palates this weekend.

Cathy Strange favorite cheeses Rogue River Blue, Pure Luck Feta, Constant Bliss, & Thomasville Tom. I could not understand the first one but believe it to be Calgore Creamy.
