Bike Tour Saturday and Vote for Favorite Pizza!
If you’re in town and not a Harley Honey, hope you will join us for the South Austin Food Trailer Tour! It’s free, self-guided, and you’ll be with a lot of other new riders and/or pro racers riding their bicycles around town in search of delicious vittles. You can drive, too (this is Texas after all) but some of us might laugh and point
In honor of the Tasty Touring Trailer Tour on Saturday, Taste No Evil Muffins will be offering “Half Size Muffins” so you can have all the fun with out getting too full too fast! Flavors to include Blackberry Peach, Blueberry Buttermilk Bliss and Chocolate Sinsation each for only $1.25 (price includes tax). All other flavors will of course be available at regular size and price.
Thanks to Austin on Two Wheels for posting about the tour on his blog.
Please also take a minute to share your favorite Austin pizza spot — we’ll be talkin’ pizza pie on KGSR next Thursday, June 18 at 8:30 am CT. Please feel free to listen on your radio at 107.1 or stream it live on kgsr.com.
Statesman and Austin360 restaurant reviewer Mike Sutter reminded me about the wonderful pizzas and salads at House Pizzeria on Airport Boulevard in his recent review. That spot is definitely worth a mention and if you go, be sure to pick up one of the hundreds of New Orlean’s Sno Ball combinations at Casey’s on the corner of Airport and 51st.
